Currently, I am a doctoral student at the Biology Department in Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University,
Turkey. To date, I have studied on the populations of amphibians, reptiles, birds and I am still taking
part of the projects about the biodiversity inventory studies carried out by the same research group. I
planned to integrate my studies that made in the field with investigations in the laboratory in order to
improve the quality of my studies with thanks to EGL. Recently, I am interested in metabarcoding
studies and I am thinking that working in the EGL would be a great opportunity to learn the
metabarcoding skills, to improve my studies and develop my career for the future. For this purposes, I
am thinking to contribute both EGL and my PhD studies via taking part in the works about creating
database which is an ongoing project in EGL.
